Subaru 4 pot calipers

We are seeing more and more Subaru embossed 4 pot calipers in need of reconditioning with seized or sticking pistons, the pistons fitted to these calipers from the factory are a chrome plated steel piston, and after time the thin layer of chrome wears off leaving the unprotected mild steel open to the elements, this area rusts and then seizes in the bores.

We make our own stainless steel pistons that will never rust, so eliminates this problem, you should never have a problem of sticking pistons again after we have reconditioned them

We strip the calipers down, paint strip them if needed, chemically clean them, bead blast, prime and spray them any colour you want, the most popular colours are Black or red, we rebuild them with new seals, our own stainless steel pistons and new bleed nipples, we consider them better than brand new when we have finished with them.

On these, we can also offer an exchange basis for those who cannot take their cars off the road,  as in daily drives, we can send you out a pair of fully reconditioned calipers for you to swap, then send your old units back to us, we require a refundable deposit of £125 for this, your calipers being sent back to us cannot have any damage to the castings, and all threads must be intact .

We charge £195 for a pair of fully reconditioned Subaru 4 pot calipers, plus £15 P&P, you must cover the cost of sending your old units back to us before the deposit is refunded.

For those wanting to repair their own calipers, we offer the stainless steel pistons for £15 each, or £100 a set of 8, and seal kits are £19.50 per caliper kit.

Brembo alloy calipers as fitted to Mitsubishi Evo and Impreza STi

We can also offer a reconditioning service for customers who’s cars are fitted with Brembo calipers from the factory, we completely strip them down, paint strip them, bead blast, prime and spray them any colour you want, we polish the pistons as its very rare for these to need changing as they are aluminium, if the seals have no damage we can chemically clean them, if they are damaged, or you just want peace of mind, we can supply and fit new seals into them.

We charge £60 labour per calipers to recondition them, seal kits if needed are £45 per caliper.
