I made my first Brake kit about ten years ago. I used to Rally a Mk2 Ford Escort with standard spec brakes on the front. I was looking for a way of improving the brakes without the cost of fitting expensive racing brakes.

I found out that the Austin Princess calipers were four pot calipers ad with some modifications they would fit the ford escort strut assembly. I made a kit to fit these brakes to my car, and on the rallies I competed on after this I was swamped with requests to make fitting kits for other competitors who were also looking for a low cost upgrade of their brakes.

I started making these kits from my garage at home and started getting orders from many of the car performance accessory shops who wanted to sell my kits to their customers.

It wasn't long before I became so busy that I decided to turn it from a hobby that helped pay for my rallying into a full time business.

We started looking to fit similar kits to different cars, and also started manufacturing high performance brake discs that were a direct replacement for the standard equipment. We were the first company to sell a grooved and drilled disc, back then there were a few companies selling either drilled or grooved discs, but we were the ones who came up with the idea of machining both to the same disc. Once others could see the benefits they started to copy us.

To date our product list has over 1000 different specification discs for all vehicles, we make lots of different disc sizes to use in our brake kits which are also available for just about every car.
