These brake conversions have a disc with a separate centre. The centre is called a bell. We make the bells in-house from aluminium. As we can make the bell in any size and shape, we can make these kits to fit your car providing you have the clearance under your wheels.

Another benefit of fitting aluminium bells is that the discs will not warp. When a conventional disc warps, the outer part of the disc goes out of shape from the centre part of the disc. This does not happen to a disc with a separate bell.

The four pot calipers we use in our kits are a cast steel caliper. These types of calipers are more suited to a road car than aluminium calipers because they are more robust and have all the proper seals to protect the piston against corrosion, road grime and dirt. The aluminium racing type calipers are designed for performance rather than reliability and will require rebuilding at frequent intervals. Our calipers have a 2 year unlimited mileage guarantee against any defects. The calipers can be supplied in any colour you want.

Supplied in the kit is a dedicated mounting bracket made from high grade steel, which fits our calipers to your hub assemblies. If your existing hoses are unsuitable for the new calipers we will also supply new ones. The kits come with full instructions that will enable any competent mechanic to fit them very easily. These kits are made in three different sizes: 308mm, 325mm and 355mm. The size of your wheels will determine what size of brakes you can fit.
